As Majority Leader in the House of Delegates, Eric Householder oversaw the largest tax reform project in West Virginia’s history, and he put more money in the hands of hardworking West Virginia taxpayers.

As Finance Chairman in the House of Delegates, Eric helped oversee the reorganization of state government. Eric fought waste in State government.

In the House of Delegates, Eric fought for the Hope Scholarship Program, making West Virginia one of the most flexible school choice states in the nation
PROTECTING THE RIGHT TO LIFE
Fighting for the unborn, Eric supported and fought for legislation restricting abortions to ensure our babies have a chance at life.
SUPPORTING THE SECOND AMENDMENT
Eric currently holds an A+ rating from the National Rifle Association. This rating indicates Eric is protecting every West Virginian’s right to keep and bear arms.

Eric's Bio
Berkeley County Conservatives sent Eric to Charleston seven times. He was elected in 2010.
Eric currently serves as the WV House Majority Leader and was the House Finance Chairman for four years.
He resides in Martinsburg with his Wife, Maxine. He has three children and five grandchildren.
Eric has been a small business owner over 30 years. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics with a concentration in Accounting from Shepherd College and he received his MBA from Frostburg State University
